The first playable build! Still, a ton to do, but a big milestone all the same!

Most of the placeholder artwork has been removed - at least one placeholder model still hanging in there - and much of the UI has been redesigned to be a bit sleeker and more user-friendly.  This is still very much an early alpha build. All the features aren't there and I think you could argue it's a toy rather than a game at this point.  The world will randomly generate with each new game and all the currently complete buildings are available.  So build, tinker, break the game, and give some feedback. There are lots of creative decisions to still be made and the more player input the better. 

Next Up!

A few months back the game made a shift away from being combat centered to more base and economy centered. I think this is a little more true to my own preferred style of game and is frankly where the creative juices have flowed and taken the project. So up next? A continued shift in the direction of building an economy. New resources. New buildings. New production recipes. The core systems for these are largely in place and the data or content simply needs to be added. As always, the goal is to continue to build a system that is flexible. Adapting to creative ideas needs for gameplay balance as well as player feedback. 

I want to build a system that requires thought and some strategy, but not huge doses of micromanagement. That's the goal. Less about clicking. More about building.
