Patch Notes 0.036


Version 0.036 brings two major functional changes. Along with many bugs fixes and few bits of optimization.

Replacing the "directives" selection menu is the "market" window. Once you gain access to the market you can buy and sell any resource in the game. This allows more control and more choice in how to run and build your economy.  


A new "worker" window will allow you to hire and fire workers as needed. There is a fee to hire new workers and all workers will require food, water and wages daily. If the workers needs are not met their efficiency will start to drop. 

In testing there were two game breaking bugs that did not allow the player to move beyond the first night. The enemy did not successfully create a path to the player base... This has hopefully been patched, but it was difficult to reproduce. If this occurs, a restart of the game will be necessary.


More Details:

Added "stock market" for selecting off world shipments. This replaced the "choose your directive" menu. Any resource can be bought or sold.

New worker menu added. You no longer need to rely on company directives to reward workers when you need them most. Workers have a hiring cost plus maintaince costs in food, water and wages. Hiring fee and wages are paid with "tech credits" which are also used for purchasing upgrades. If your workers needs are not met their efficiency will start to fall. 

Cargo handling has been completely redesigned. Connections can now be controller by players. Add connections with the building info menu or by holding shift while clicking other buildings.

Fixed bug in global shuttle behavior. Fixed bug with "off" priority.

New "resource" menu allow control of which resources are show on the HUD.

New resources and products added. 

Market events now have a chance to occur each morning. 

Unit info window is now draggable. 

Sentry towers now require energy to be active.

Many other bug fixes.
